This classic Sandgate Queenslander was restored and extended with a striking dark-clad addition by SQ Architecture, and the juxtaposition of old and new works beautifully. The new wing opens onto a covered deck, and inside, the home now flows into a bright kitchen and family space with a long island bench, a high raked ceiling and timber floors.
